On Wednesday, Israeli colonialist settlers, squatting on stolen Palestinian lands, invaded an orchard near Salfit, in central West Bank, before uprooting olive trees and destroying a water network.
The Local Council in Dir Istiya village said the colonists invaded orchards in the Wadi Qana area, northwest of Salfit, and uprooted more than 10 olive trees, in an orchard owned by Qassem Nasser Mansour.
It added that the colonists also destroyed two water reservoirs, and an irrigation network, owned by the same Palestinian, in addition to stealing a donkey from a farmer.
Salfit and its surroundings are amongst the areas most impacted by Israel’s illegal colonialist activities, and the escalating violations by the colonists against the Palestinians, their homes and lands, and even their livestock.
